Lyes SEFIANE

Lyes SEFIANE (born on August 30th, 1988 in Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria) is an Algerian-Canadian (Dual Citizen) Senior Software Engineer residing in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada (Ottawa, ON). Graduated from Two Separate Higher Education Institutions in France : Grande École and Université Paris Dauphine-PSL (Dauphine Campus and AgroParisTech) in 2014 and Université Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis in 2012 with 02 distinct Master's degree in Computer Science (Fairly Good - Honors) after being Graduated from Université Mouloud Mammeri de Tizi-Ouzou (Algeria) in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Fairly Good - Honors). 8+ years experience developing software using the Java ecosystem technologies such as Java 8+, Spring Framework 5+, JUnit, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Docker, Postman, Openapi/Swagger, to develop Desktop, RESTful Webservices, and Microservices by applying Agile Scrum methodology. After 5.4 amazing years of engineering a JavaFX Desktop Software named NAVA an official Ciena Corporation Software Product that stands for Network Analysis and Visualization Application available for the Windows platforms as Senior Software Engineer and Product Owner, written using Java 11, JavaFx/OpenJFX and Spring Core Framework as a full time employee dedicated to the Optical Telecommunication domain (reporting to the Director Service Innovation R&D at Ciena Corporation) to aid the Ciena Corporation's telecommunications engineers on their daily tasks, the NAVA project came to an end, successfully completed and fully delivered (including digital signature) as Algerian Citizen Native and Permanent Resident (PR) of Canada. My last employment day at Ciena Corporation was July 29th, 2022.
